Our Work in Quebec
Thanks to support from the LÉGER FOUNDATION, community organizations all across Quebec continue working towards the goal of dignity for vulnerable and marginalised people in every corner of the province.
Since 1983 when we first began our work in Quebec, more than 2,800,000 people have benefited directly by the programs and initiatives of our partners, with $27,500,000 of financial support invested in projects that provide sustainable, community-based solutions to ensure that every person, no matter his or her circumstances, enjoys the chance to flourish as a full member of society.
The LÉGER FOUNDATION continues its work on the front lines, wherever help is needed, in partnership with local organizations throughout the province today and in years to come. Whether it is through financial assistance or by providing organizational support, we stand by our partners to provide programs which promote dignity for all. It’s the vision at the core of everything we do.
In Quebec, the LÉGER FOUNDATION primarily supports programs and initiatives that aim to improve conditions for those in need by ensuring access to proper nutrition, economic opportunity, and physically safe environments; and by promoting social inclusion for the vulnerable and marginalised.
